Incheon is the largest air transport hub in South Korea and the main international gateway into the country but is located significantly further from the city centre than Gimpo Airport . Long-haul international flights touch down only at Incheon Airport (as of December 2016), whilst Gimpo Airport handles the city’s short-haul regional and domestic flights.

Incheon Airport is situated about 50 kilometres from Seoul’s city centre. A taxi ride from the airport to the city would take around 80-90 minutes at a fare of about KRW 65,000-80,000 (SGD 78-96).
Gimpo Airport is located only around 16 kilometres from Seoul. A taxi ride to the city should not cost much more than KRW 15,000-25,000 (SGD 18-30) and would take about half an hour.
